Profile
Students from around the world continue to study remotely, and this can be particularly challenging for international students, who live and study across different time zones, who often lack a sense of belonging in their local community, who often face online technology challenges and a lack of motivation.
During this brunch we hope to explore the various challenges that international students, currently resident in China, have faced along with opportunities that these COVID-19 times present.
“The striking feature of the UWC is that they embrace the entire world. They are unique and they are conscious of their responsibilities.”
– Nelson Mandela
Late Honorary President of UWC, Late President of South Africa
