The Chengdu Women in Business network are excited to announce the first workshop in their #BalanceForBetter Workshop Series: Insight intoThe Enneagram, by the fantastically talented Dani Bulgrien. It will be the first in series of 4 workshops during 2019, to gain skills and connections to help more women access leadership roles in the global workplace – by having a balanced and diverse set of tools.
The Enneagram is used worldwide as a self assessment to better understand oneself and people’s professional development – and by businesses to align, link and synergies various organizational development initiatives. It is more than just a personality model, but a powerful suite of tools to offer a framework for reflecting on group and community dynamics and drivers, as well as a process that can be applied to guide an intentional, grounded change journey.
This workshop will offer insight into the Enneagram:
This hands on workshop led by experienced facilitator and believer in the enneagram as a valuable tool, Dani Bulgrien, who will provide an introduction, as well as practical assessments during the evening. We will then have resources for you to dive deeper into the concepts discussed in this workshop:
- Origins of the Enneagram.
- Why the Enneagram is important for reaching new heights in self discovery.
- Overview of the triads, the 9 types, and explanations of “wings” – this workshop will largely focus on determining your own individual type.
- Why the enneagram matters for personal growth & greater development in relationships personal/professional.
- How your individual type works, loves and play.
All materials for this workshop are included and an e-copy of The Road Back to You – An Enneagram Journey to Self Discovery, by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile will be sent to all attendees.

Dani is heavily focused on the concept of muscle and mindset, encompassing a pattern of living that isn’t only focused on the physical but also the mental side of health. She has led vision & goal setting workshops, spoken on panels regarding women in fitness in China, and is hoping to embark on mindset coaching in the near future.
She is quick to crack jokes in yoga class, has too many pairs of athletic shoes and would rather lift weights than do cardio (cardio-no.) She can be found drinking way too much iced coffee, refusing to ride in taxi’s because cycling is better (duh), and taking laps around Tongzilin with her two Chengdu adopted pups.
