Haidilao Hotel Project:
A Unique Hospitality Collaboration in Chengdu
The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has partnered with popular hotpot brand Haidilao to open a new hotel complex in Chengdu. This exciting dual-branded project is now under construction.
It will bring together two major hotel brands: the luxurious Vignette Collection and the business-focused Crowne Plaza. They will make their debut in Chengdu as a “twin-star” combination for the first time. Both hotels will open side by side in the Haidilao Global Headquarters Park, located near Baijinshan Reservoir in the Eastern New Area of Chengdu.
This is a milestone project. It will mark the Vignette Collection’s first entry into Chengdu. At the same time, it highlights Haidilao’s growing ambition beyond the restaurant industry.
The complex will be more than just a place to stay. Plans also include a reception center, conference and exhibition venues, and housing for employees. The total investment is expected to be at least RMB 2.4 billion.
The hotels are set to open in phases, with full completion expected by June 2026.

The first Zoo Hotel in China is set to open in Mingyue Village, located in Pujiang County, Chengdu. This new concept is designed with families and animal lovers in mind—offering a fun and relaxing destination for vacations with both kids and pets.
