Friends of Vienna Boys Choir
The choir of Friends of Vienna Boys Choir in Chengdu (Started Nov. 2019) is affiliated with the Club of Friends of Vienna Boys in China – which is partnered with the world-famous choral education brand, Austrian national treasure – Vienna Boys Choir!
FVBC Chengdu provides a genuinely high-quality, German-Austrian-Hungarian system of music education and choir teaching for children, for kids who love music and singing! It is an excellent platform for children to pursue their musical dreams and build up gradually their mastery of music.
The Vienna Boys’ Choir (VBC for short) frequently tours in China, and the Chengdu FVBC choir will have chance to meet them and even sing with them on the stage!
In previous years, the members and parents of FVBC had the chance to visit Vienna together. They were invited to the Augarten Palais, where the members of the Vienna Boys Choir live and study, and attended cultural exchanges, and were coached by the VBC experts. The highlight was singing together with choirs from all over the world and VBC on the incredible stage of the Golden Hall in Vienna.

Learning with the FVBC
We use an German/Austrian/Hungarian method of teaching, through learning Chinese and foreign songs, mastering basic music theory, music knowledge, Solfège, systematic vocal training, breathing training, pitch accuracy, art of stage singing performance, and etiquette training, etc., to cultivate children’s musical perception and comprehensive musical abilities.
The international master conductors teaching in FVBC Chengdu are very skilled and highly experienced in the field, and highly experienced in the field, and the opus that we learn will not be limited to Chinese songs, but rather beautiful pieces in various languages! At the same time, the foreign teachers will also give bilingual (English and Chinese) lessons, so while singing kids can also practice listening and speaking, almost too good to be true!
