On November 5, 2020, a notice on the temporary suspension of entry into China by non-Chinese nationals in the Philippines holding valid Chinese or residence permits was issued by the Embassy of The People’s Republic of China in The Republic of The Philippines, which soon attracted great attention among the public. The Embassy in Bangladesh also announced the same suspension shortly after.
