A Vogue Ball is the event where people from the ballroom community come together to compete in various categories. In layman terms, it is like a dance competition or a dance battle. However, a vogue ball consists of not only dance categories but other categories such as Runway, Realness, Face, Body, Sex Siren, Drag Queen Lip Sync and many more. Each category is fashion specific. It is common to have an overall theme for the ball and have different outfit requirements for each category. It is also common to be outlandish, camp and extra in a ball 🔥 In a Vogue Ball, the participants compete together down the runway (the dance floor) towards the judges. This is unlike other styles of street dance where it is common to alternate between each competitor and battle facing each other
