「THE GIFT OF TIME」
Taikoo Li Chengdu Nineth Anniversary Celebration
Taikoo Li Chengdu was finished nine years ago, and really changed the dynamic of the city. It has quickly become the key destination for luxury and lifestyle shops, bars and restaurants in Chengdu. Surrounding the historic Daci temple, and bordering the Temple House Hotel – the complex holds boutique fashion brands, top restaurants and more.
Since its official opening in 2015, TaiKoo Li Chengdu has been committed to creating a world-class urban destination of Chengdu.
On the occasion of its 9th anniversary TaiKoo Li Chengdu draws inspiration from “time”, encapsulating the concept of “the brewing and fermentation of time’. Symbolizing the gradual development and evolution of Taikoo Li Chengdu over 9 years, this exhibition invites the public to closely observe the process and changes brought about by time, indulge in the rich aroma naturally emanating from the passage of time, and appreciate the gift of time.
Taikoo Li Chengdu 9th Anniversary Exhibition
Talkoo Li Chengdu has aptly named the exhibition “好9好久”. The initial “好” refers to “大吉” (big luck), the numeral “9” represents the 9th anniversary; and “好久’ stands for “great and ancient”, which perfectly resonates with this sentiment.
This exhibition is inspired by the 9-year journey of Taikoo Li Chengdu and has customized “fermentation laboratory”, through a unique concept of plant fragrance blending selecting natural herbs and oriental tea leaves are selected. After undergoing a two-stage light fermentation process and varying durations, nine different alcoholic strengths and flavors of sparking tea wine are crafted, ranging from refreshing sweetness to rich mellowness, layer by layer. People can taste the sparkling tea wines as a time-honored gift from a 9 years journey.
