Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu was finished two years ago, and really changed the  dynamic of the city. It has quickly become the key destination for luxury and lifestyle shops, bars and restaurants in Chengdu. Surrounding the historic Daci temple,  and bordering the Temple House Hotel – the complex holds Beer Bars, international restaurants, a large bookshops, boutique fashion brands and more.

To celebrate this milestone, Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu unveiled a fabulous interactive installation ‘THE PULSE OF CHENGDU’ on 21st April.  There was a fashion show, international DJ, live music and traditional drummers and dancers clad in white. Canapes and sparkling wine were enjoyed by distinguished guests, who seem to really enjoy the show.

Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu is a place where people can enjoy life at their own pace, play or shop with energetic excitement, or relax with friends over a leisurely tea. They would like to convey their audience they are the centre of the city and would like to invite people to feel the Pulse of Chengdu here.
In Temple Plaza, they have created a stunning installation (curated by Saatchi & Saatchi) with more than 140 beaming lights that move in time with the changing music and set the true Pulse of Chengdu.

At one moment the lights are spinning and gyrating, from a central point, fast and upbeat, then slowing with romantic sweeping forms and shapes and moodily in waves of light awash with sentiment to move the soul and match the constantly changing character of real Chengdu-ers. ‘THE PULSE OF CHENGDU’is here to reflect the Chengdu lives, using the kinetic ball programs, where it moves fast and slow, the movement implicate the energetic and relaxing moments we spend here, happy and calming feelings we have, etc.
