The Chengdu-Expat awards are back this year to celebrate the communities, places, and people that make this city so great. Open nominations were held from December 1st and closed midnight Thursday 7th December. We received over 600 sets of nominations, and the top ten most nominated in each category will now go through to a vote. How to vote?
To make sure all voting is fair we have designed a new WeChat Mini Program. It will serve as a comprehensive guide to the city without ever having to leave WeChat as well as a tool to vote with.
1. Scan the QR code below
This will take you to the Mini Program. You can also search for chengduexpat+
2. Select Votes
This may require stable wifi.
3. Register with your email address
Your password must contain an upper case letter, a lower case letter and a number. Shortly afterwards, you will be able to log in with your user name and password.
4. You can now vote!
You will now be able to vote one time in each category.
As the Mini Program is new, it’s still undergoing some bug fixes, if you are logged out in between voting, please click log in again – and you will be able to vote for the next category. The app will be updated Monday 11th December to iron out this bug.
If you have any problems voting, please email us at info@chengdu-expat.com and we will do our best to respond as soon as possible. The Mini Program is new, so may still be experiencing bugs.
The voting ends midnight Thursday 14th December at Midnight.
The Party
You are all invited to the 2017 Chengdu-Expat Awards Party On Saturday 16th December at Oakwood. It will be a night of live music, great drinks and celebrating the wonderful people, places and communities that make living in the city so great. Tickets will be available shortly.
