Jiaozi Pedestrian Bridge 交子人行桥
The Jiaozi Pedestrian Bridge has soon become a hot tourist attraction and an online hit since it officially opened to traffic on May 1. The new bridge, located in the Jiaozi section of Jinjiang Park, spans the Jinjiang River and southern Kehua Road.With a total length of 496 meters, the bridge features a brand new design with the traditional Chinese cultural characteristics. In an aerial view, the bridge looks like lotus leaves over the river, making itself a congenial part of the ecological and cultural environment by the Jinjiang River that connects the eastern and western sections of the Jiaozi Park.The bridge serves as a passageway and an open space for various activities as a part of the park. It consists of nine functional parts for sightseeing, tea & coffee drinking, book reading, opera performance, water light shows, outdoor activities, etc.

Wuchazi Bridge 五岔子大桥
The double-layer Wuchazi Bridge became an attraction in Chengdu’s Hi-tech Zone, crossing the Fuhe river. A more common name for this bridge is ∞ Mobius Ring. Old Chengren Bridge老成仁人行天桥
The old Chengren bridge is located in Chengdu’s South Hi-Tech Zone. The bridge is 213 meters and can be distinguished by its 2 mushroom shaped umbrellas, both ornamental and practical.

Angong Bridge 安公桥
Angong Bridge stands at 89.5 metes long, and 5.3 meters wide. The design inspiration came from the old Chinese story “The carp has leaped through the dragon’s gate”. The bridge is recognizable due to its bright lights and shiny exterior and can be followed right beside the river, making it feel like the “sky’s the limit”!

London Bridge Chengdu 戛纳湾风情廊桥
This European style pedestrian bridge was built in 2012. Eight red towers stand in the water and hold the suspension bridge above the Jinjiang river. At one side is a villa compound, and at the other side one Huayang’s vegetable market, including a big restaurant. If you like running, there’s a pretty nice trail following the river.

Fire Ring Bridge 交子之环
The Jiaozi Ring is located directly opposite the twin towers of Chengdu’s Financial City. It is of course, China red. The unique network structure on the bridge has a flexible looking design, like string. The Jiaozi Ring is the first pedestrian overpass with ‘multiple functions’ in China.The design prototype is based on the Jiaozi, the earliest paper currency in China, which originated in Chengdu, in the Song Dynasty. We’re guessing this inspiration comes from the fact it’s straddling the financial district. Its shape is said to come from the copper coin pattern the first paper currency. In the design, floating curves are used to show the softness of the paper.
