Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu was finished seven years ago, and really changed the dynamic of the city. It has quickly become the key destination for luxury and lifestyle shops, bars and restaurants in Chengdu. Surrounding the historic Daci temple, and bordering the Temple House Hotel – the complex holds boutique fashion brands, top restaurants and more.

To celebrate this milestone, Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu unveiled the large-scale public art installation “WE ARE TOGETHER”, showcasing the evolution of human civilization. Canapes and sparkling wine were enjoyed by distinguished guests, who seem to really enjoy the show.

From June 6 to 27, visitors can catch a glimpse of the public art complex: the new landmark WE ARE TOGETHER is the brainchild co-created by artists expressing the interaction between mankind and nature, the city and more at the centrally located Man Square.

At the same time, Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu also bring a series of exciting content and activities.

Looking back into the interaction between mankind and nature, we see how creativity and imagination have led mankind to come out in ancient times, go beyond the agrarian era, and then enter today’s developed society. Featuring the basic images: Rice field and Scaffold, the large public art complex: WE ARE TOGETHER is specially curated for marking the seventh anniversary of Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu and abstractly showcasing the evolution of human civilization. The rice field is a real milestone in the agrarian era amid mankind’s interaction with nature. Meanwhile, the scaffold is the ubiquitous man-made object in ever-changing modern cities, marking the culture-driven urbanization and continuous development of human civilization with the abstract touch of structure and architecture. Amid the blending of mankind’s spirits and strength with nature, a colorful, burgeoning, and modernized world comes into being thanks to the unremitting and concerted efforts of mankind — all of us.
