The 19th Coolest Neighbourhood in the World

Chengdu’s Tangba Jie 镋钯街 was recently named No.19 in TimeOut’s list of the 50 coolest neighbourhoods in the world to visit in 2018. A stone’s throw from the river, Tangba Jie is a perfect example of how Chengdu combines old neighbourhoods and new development. The area provides some sweet relief from commercial Taikoo Li, with a sizzling selection of street food and alleyways to explore. It’s also home to foreigner favourites Lotus, Good Good, Let’s Grind, Le Coq Au Vin and more.
