The tree-lined Tongzilin South Road is one of the best pockets of international food in the city, with everything from French rotisserie chickens, to American BBQ, Burgers, and more.
Our favorite place for a spot of dinner, has just got a little more exciting with the newly renovated San Ke – a cafe, bistro and bar, serving up pan-asian fusion food, wines, beers, specialist cocktails, sakes and more.
San Ke (previously called Brunch) has a new stylish interior – perfect for a date, or catch up with friends, with big windows opening up onto the street, making it a good spot for an after-work drink and some people watching.
The menu is an eclectic mix of western favourites like pasta, tortilla-pizzas, steaks, and burgers (they have vegan burger too), together with a variety of pan-Asian fusion food, like satay chicken, Malaysia-style chicken curry, and crispy spring rolls. A selected food menu is also available on Meituan for delivery. Their tuna croissant is a favourite lunch order for delivery.

We will definitely be coming back for their whole spiced duck (108rmb), which when served up with a bottle of red, would make a great light dinner, or late-night snack. It’s rich, crispy, delicious, and well worth checking out.
Alongside their diverse lunch & dinner menu, they have a really strong selection of cocktails, wine, sakes and beer – which are all buy 2 get 1 free, between 8pm and 11pm.
Try their long island, if you’re looking to start your night out with a bang. It’s really really good. But you may not remember much the next day…
