📝 Instructions to Applicants 申请须知
To start, at least one person in the couple must have their registered permanent residence (hukou) in Sichuan Province.
Before registering your marriage, you’ll need to gather the required documents. These differ for Sichuan residents and foreigners. You can find a complete list of what’s needed on the website of the Chinese-Foreign Marriage Pre-examination and Reservation System of Sichuan Province.
💡 Tip: You must complete the online pre-examination before you can make a reservation for marriage registration.

Scan the QR code to access the Chinese-Foreign Marriage Pre-examination and Reservation System.
Click on “Marriage Registration Pre-examination” and then “Pre-examination.”
扫描二维码进入四川涉外婚姻预审预约网，点击“结婚登记预审”一“我要预审”；
3. Carefully read the agreement. Afterward, check the box to confirm you’ve read and agree to the terms, then click “Agree.”
仔细阅读结婚登记网上预审协议，选中“已经详细阅读并同意《结婚登记网上预审协议》”并点击“同意”;
4. Enter your personal information and upload the required documents. Include your phone number (if you have a Chinese mainland landline or mobile). Then, input the verification code and click “Next” to finish submission.
填写男女双方信息，上传预审所需材料，输入联系方式(需是中国大陆座机或手机，如无可不输入）及验证码，并点击“下一步”，提交完成。

After completing the pre-examination:
Scan the QR code again and select “Marriage Registration Reservation” then “Reservation.”

2. Enter both parties’ ID numbers and click “Search” to view your pre-examination results.
输入双方证件号码并点击“查询”查看预审结果
3. Once approved, you can choose a date and time at your preferred marriage registration office.
预约好时间，即可前往指定婚姻登记处进行婚姻登记
